I think the lesson to be learned here is that unless you are an Ansel Adams it is better to experiment with your subject, change the viewpoint as Walter has done here for instance. Sometimes the very thing that draws you in makes you miss something more subtle and more compelling. Two things will happen, you will end up with more pleasing images and also increase yor ability to see. I would like to see the same image taken with a very slow shutter speed.
I definitely prefer the lower perspective of the second shot Walter. The water also appears to be slightly more vivid than in the first shot. The beautiful sky also adds to the scene. Nice work! "V"

Hi Walter. Very well done by going back and re shooting. It's now a fantasic image. Thanks for sharing. V
Wow, Walter, you took a good picture and turned it into a great one. Everything about this is better, much more clarity and the perspective draws the eye into the water. Excellent work. V
I went completely back to the drawing board with this one by using the image taken just before the one I submitted. This allowed me and off-center composition. It was not possible to change the depth of field as suggested. I did process this differently and the saturation and vibrance are more subdued.
