Stephanie's Trio

One of the nice things about these challenges is that you learn a lot. Stephanie recommended this trio of beers to me.
From left Victory Golden Monkey, Anderson Vallery Brother David's Triple and Belzebuth a super strong beer Stephanie photographed earlier this month.
We tried the Victory Golden Monkey last night and it's an excellent Belgian Style Ale with a spicy slightly sweet taste. Excellent accompaniment for a carbonnade I would think.

This beer portrait is also the first image I've posted with my new Nikkor 85mm f/1.8 portrait lens.

My take on the challenge is 30 foods I like to eat.

Back in the days of film and manual focus, seems like such a long time ago, a Canon f/1.8 85mm was my go to lens. I like the way you have presented this image Walter.

Walter - you might like Firestone Double Barrel Ale - they age it in old wine barrels - made in Santa Barbara county. Nice shot too!
