The Meerkat Baby
The other day I saw a Meerkat Baby for the first time in my life. This one is at least three weeks old because they are not taken out of the burrow before then. They are weaned after about 7 to 8 weeks.
It took me a few minutes to get this shot because the mother was bent over the baby to keep it warm on a cool morning.
