autumn_cliche

Finally on a dark and gloomy Saturday morning (one might ask what's new about that in the UK) I decided to give my camera and myself a well deserved outing (yes, both were gathering dust in a cold dark corner for far too long). Result...you see it....random unsharp snapshots of fall colour....no art...no challenge...no photography...pure rubbish snapshots. Well that's what we call fall colour in London anyway, few coloured trees (may be few coloured leaves in a tree would be a better description) here and there, not a bunch of them together with wide vistas or crystal clear lakes/rivers as in your favourite autumn landscapes. I hate it...cliche....flowers, trees, scenics.....everyone else has done it many times before and done much better than me. There is no way to photograph people (please someone tell them in the west about candid photography and how much that's appreciated in the rest of the world....or collect some hat money and buy me a long telephoto. Long enough to hit the shutter and run before police catches for intruding the privacy of people who happen to be walking out in the open in public places). And my favourite wildlife and bird photography? The only animal I can see around is myself. If you have some idea, suggest me what could be photographed in the least photogenic country in the world, I'd really appreciate your help. Back to the day....not everything turned out to be boring though....the lunch I had at the noodle bar was good (fried rice strips with assorted seafood, spicy enough to start with and eternal bliss once more chilli oil was added in). Now that you have had enough of my blah..blah...blah...go and see the album before i pull it off (I will actually) and suggest in my guestbook which is your favourite Chinese dish. If this is not enough to put you off and you dare to come back again....next album will contain a bunch of blurred snapshots of nothing.
