Sri Lanka is really a butiful place.LTTE terrorist are trying to destroy thire image by giving false infomations. If tamils are displaced ,how it become 60% of poplation in colombo alone. The tamils who came from south india long ago are trying to divide the county so that they can form theire dreem Elam together with Tamil Nadu. For that they create false stories to mislead the international comunities.

Hi Amy Enjoyed your great Holiday pics. thx for sharing. I am selecting one photo for as a cover for some songs for the soul. If you have any objection let me know otherwise I am going ahead. Few Karoke singers got together and made some healing songs to put it out at an event for North East of Srilanka. I could get a copy for you in return once done. I guess you could not visit North or East of Srilanka due to the ethnic situation. That area is systematically neglected by the regime, now under semi-control of the minority tamil, there is a risk for any tamil to live in any other part of Srilanka when they need to run for a save haven they go towards the North and East. In 1983 there was an organized riots to displace tamils by the rulers/politicians. Srilankan tamils who fled the country now living in Alaska down to Tasmania. I read further now the freedom of press is being taken away and violations of human rights at the higest Amnesty International reported. There is a rally on the 11th of April in NY to voice it, incase you are interested check out the Amnesty International web site. It has been good talking..

Enjoyed your gallery. It looks like Sri Lanka has not changed since my trip there 10 years ago. Agree with your comment in the forum about the wonderful people. Beautiful landscape and very friendly and fun people - a great place.
