While the reasons for photographing this Department's calls is for the Department's archives, training and
newspaper submittals, the photos rendered on this PBase series will always be artistic shots that show the
firefighters in their tasks and not shots of the loss and misery associated with their work. I have found that
there is always an artistic side to all events, even war. You don't have to show the grim to tell a story when
the same story can be embraced more vividly in more subtle and tasteful images.
