The National Park Service has worked for the past several decades to preserve a small slice of the Hadden Icefield and its many glaciers that spill into the waters of Prince William Sound and the surrounding coastal landscape. A place where you can visit an old and still functioning coastal fishery as well as a marine sanctuary for major marine mammals and sea life that include humpback whales, orcas, dall porpoise, sea lions, sea otters, seals and avian seabirds.
