Capital of the Italian province of Umbria, the quieter alter-ego to its more famous northern neighbor, Tuscany. Home to Perugina chocolate and Buitoni pasta, this charming hilltop community has a long and rich history. We stayed with a wonderful, warm, generous couple, parents of a very good friend of ours, and we greatly appreciate the care and concern they lavished on us.
