Somehow, fate, stupidity, laziness, or just plain hunger for a simple glass of really fresh squeezed lemonade, and a delicious slice of pizza brought me back to the same wonderful, humble, joyful pizzeria at Pike Place, the LoPriori Brothers pizza stand across the street from the Market. On each of my visits to Seattle, in September 2002 and again this month, I sat my tired body down and enjoyed Brian Lopriori's effusive, warm and generous hospitality, and his delicious sauces, pizza and fresh-squeezed lemonade. That's Brian's smiling mug behind the counter, hawking his cuisine!
