While clearly paying very, very poor homage to Hokusai & Horushige with their
100 Views of Edo and magnificent series of Fuji woodblock print series,
I offer here some twenty - I'm channeling Mel Brooks here, maybe 15 -
images of Japan's most iconic image from a visit to Lake Kawaguchi
that we made on June 16th of this year.
All images were taken in RAW format, actually .CRW, for Canon's proprietary format,
and it's taken me weeks to find time to start the process of figuring out how to
even read these images. So please echo my sister-in-law's injunction to me as
I complained about the plethora of trains and lack of velocity as we plodded
our way from Tokyo to Fujigoko (the five lakes region around Fuji) - gaman! Patience!
