Skagit Eagles

Bald eagles abound along the Skagit River that flows westward out of the North Cascades into Puget Bay, thanks to the relative health of salmon runs in the river. At some points, it's possible to walk right up to a tree filthy with 2-3 bald eagles and photograph them to your heart's content. If only I had a lengthier zooom lens...!
