In Stresa, this beautiful villa was once the villa of the Siemens family. It is now open for parties and weddings. We stayed here when it was operated as Antico Pallazo by Massimo Noja (originally from Ghiffa, on the lake north of Stresa) and his wife Natalie (originally from Pacific Palisades,California). They were the most gracious and extraordinary hosts we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The six bedrooms and the common areas of the villa are maintained in their original style and are stunning. The furniture and art is equally stunning. The garden has many specimen plants and a beautiful walkway covered in wisteria. Only the statuary is a concession to modern art.
