Located in Cawayan, Bohol.
House is my design and the second floor is an open area like a pavilion. The second floor will mostly be a gathering area as well as a means of keeping the sun off the first floor. The second floor has an outdoor kitchen, bathroom, outdoor shower, storage and an office. Designed with the tropical weather in mind to minimize the solar heat load. Eaves of the house will be 2 meters (6 feet) and also have a wrap around the first floor of the same size to shade it.

The main floor will have three bedrooms, two bathrooms, storage rooms, kitchen, office, multipurpose room (air conditioned TV/living room/fourth bedroom), dining room, living room and a large front porch. There is also a two car carport and later a "dirty kitchen" behind the house.

This will be a vacation home and our retirement home when the time comes. The house is on a knoll on 2.5 acres of land which includes coconut and mango trees and we will be adding fruit trees to the open land.
