Albert just thought you may like to know the following. Was having a beer with a mate the other night and mentioned he take a look at your Photo Gallery , I was telling him if you want to see really well composed Photos, take a look at your work. I just looked at your 2009 Smoky Mountains shots , first class as usual, I try to get somewhere inbetween with my shots , I can never seem to get your quality. Anyway all the best from Paul a fellow Nikonian (misunda) Brisbane , Australia .

ps. My wife and I are touring the East Coast of the USA October this year, looking forward to getting some great shots.

Hello! My name is Ida, and I am 15 years old and from Norway. I just wonder if I could use your wolf photos on my own site? (not minstall.no) I will edit them a litle and also write your pbase URL on them.

Greetings from Ida! (please answer on iateyourpizza1993@hotmail.com)

Hi! I'm a girl from Norway, and I wondered if I might be permitted to use your beautiful wolf photos in a website www.minstall.no ? Its a website where you can be a member, and " create your own stable ". You create animals, and put pictures on the animals (Not for real, just a game ;-) ) For more info, you can take a look on; www.minstall.no <-- Norwegian or www.mydreamstable.com <-- English.
I promise to use the photos with respect, and I can write on every animal that you have taken the picture! + link to your website! I love your photos! They are beautiful!
Sincerely Martine Olsen :)

Please answer on e-mail; funtiigo@hotmail.com

( I'm from norway, so I'm not that good in English. Sorry if there is a lot of typos ) ;-)

Your Images are amazing! I love wildlife and have always wanted to photograph images such as your but have not had much of an opportunity to do so. You must travel allot? Are most of your images shot in their true environment? How about the lizards? I love the macro, they are my favorite. what an inspiration ,Thank you!

I've been struggling with my decision to purchase the Canon 30D versus the Nikon D200. After much debate and your breath taking photography I've decided that will indeed return my Canon 30D and make the leap to Nikon. Your work inspires greatness.
Robin Rains 06-Jul-2006 00:16
What a wonderful collection of images you have here. The thing that really amazes me is that I use the same camera you do, but I sure am not getting out of it what you are! I definitely need more practice. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's hard to put an adjective (or even several) to accurate depict your pictures. So I will just say what others have said. Good stuff!

One day, I will reach your level. Your pictures possesses a mysteriously motivating aura. But for now, I just need to figure out how to use this stupid Photoshop.

Albert:

Thanks so much for sharing the great pictures!. I recently acquired a D200 with 80-400VR Nikkor lens and am leaving on 6/17 for Denali and Kenai. Your eagle pictures are awesome!!! Any tips for me on capturing using this setup? Plan to use on gitzo tripod w/ RRS ballhead.

Albert,
You've treated your peers and the world to some superb galleries.
IMHO the "Owls" have that extra special dimension which should take it high up the Popular Galleries.
What an impressive gallery!
You've captured the quintessence of each owl so perfectly.
This is not merely an excellent ornithological photograhic treatise.
Many of the owls have unique and distinct personalities which enhance the effectiveness of the photography.
You've achieved technical mastery, especially in very tasteful colour pallettes, precise DOF, and beautiful bokeh.
Congratulations!
I would value your comments and advice to improve on my "Fauna" gallery.

Albert, I am absolutely blown away by your photography. Beautiful work. I surfed to your galleries from one of your postings on the Nikonians D200 forum and I'm glad I did. What are some of the lenses that you use for your wildlife photography? Are you using the DX 18-200 VR lens in any of your work? I'd love to know more about your work.
My username on Nikonians is sfsmith. Again, congrats on your gallery.

Albert: great raptor shots. Am living now in Colorado and would like to know where you took your shots. Formerly from your neck of the woods. Does exit 12 on NJTP ring any bells? So glad to have moved.

Thanks for the comments on my Eagles gallery. The pictures were taken at a few different locations in Minnesota -- mostly around the Twin Cities --- some in Wabasha Minnesota -- a small town on the Mississippi in south central Minnesota. I find that I am still not getting the opportunity to get closer to the Eagles -- I end up cropping the pics more than I should.

happy shooting in Alaska -- sounds fabulous. You have many great shots in your galleries!

Thanks for sharing your photos. Excellent wide angle gallery you have here,

I'm in research about buying a wide angle lens, comparing sigma 12-24mm with tokina 12-24mm and finally I saw you gallery..for the price less than sigma and for the picture quality..i would say tokina 12-24mm is the winner.
