Cardiff on Grand Slam rugby day

In March 2005 Wales rugby team finally won the Grand Slam for the first time in 27 years (since before I was born!!) - beating England, France, Scotland, Italy and in the last deciding match to seal the championship, Ireland. Needless to say, it was a very good day! Note: The quality of these photos may be slightly alcohol affected!

Thanks for shairing these images of a proper working class booze day (whilst the rest of the country can't fathom why you're getting so excited - well it is only rugger)! Never mind, the girls get involved on the 'big' day and this, no doubt, increases the chances of the sheep getting a night off.

Looks like a fun day! Wales success didnt last long though did it! :) good pubs and great looking barmaids - cardiffs a top city!
