Nelson, a one-eyed grey seal. For 25 years he made Looe Harbour his home and fishermen, townsfolk and many holidaymakers enjoyed his company. Sadly he died in 2003. In 2008 Sir Robin Knox-Johnston unveiled this life-size bronze sculpture of Nelson on a rock in the East Looe River estuary, which was then blessed and honoured with a flypast by a Naval Air Squadron.
