This Protestant church was built between 1855 and 1864, funded mainly by donations from various international noblemen and spa guests, Baden-Baden's casino, and collections in local communities. However at its inauguration, the church had no steeples as the money had run out. Another 12 years passed before the two fine steeples were completed in 1876, thanks to many further donations.
