A mile long narrow lane from Storrington leads up to Chantry Hill. It is on the South Downs Way path, and has fabulous views across to the surrounding hills and down to the Sussex Weald spreading below. The sea can also be seen to the south. There are ancient earthworks nearby. The red area straight ahead is the former Washington Sandpit quarry, now much converted to a fishing lake area.
