This church was originally built in the 12th century, on top of the remains of a Roman temple. It was also reconstructed after being mostly destroyed by French troops under Louis XIV. However, the original altar remains. The original towers were built around 1693, but were also reconstructed after being destroyed during World War II. Nowadays the church has a large gothic interior with white walls decorated by red bricks.
