This corrugated iron chapel at South Wonston, near Winchester, was erected in 1909 to serve a growing congregation in an area some distance away from the parish church. It is considered a fine example of the cheap buildings built as a result of the Victorian religious revival. The chapel was taken down in 2006 and reconstructed recently, in March 2011, at Singleton.
