Once again, you draw on contrasts to tease the imagination. The early morning sky is sublime, the light soft and mellow, the streets peaceful and deserted. Yet the tacky threads of commerce -- the MacDonalds signage, parking sign, and the array of commercial flags -- remind us that we are in a real, not imagined world.
