Keep posting! I am the owner of a Nikon D-80 and am learning its capabilities. Your gallery is a good place to view the results of a knowledge of your photo equipment.

I used my D50 with the Nikkor 18-70 lens. What I did was shoot in portrait orientation while holding the AE (auto exposure) lock button on the D50 and shot. I used F8-F11 for maximum sharpness of this lens as well as optimum depth of field. Once you have your images downloaded to your pc, make sure all of them are in portrait (vertical) orientation because some panorama stitching software does not recognize them. You should download the program called "AUTOSTITCH". It is a freeware but it does get the job done. You can tweak the program settings as much as you like. It takes a lot of practice before you get them right. If you see black parts of the panorama, just cropped them out. You should be able to get more than 20 megapixels or more from the final image.

Alvin, I like your panoramic pics. What camera are you using to create them? Do you stitch them in the camera or with a program?
