Very nice work. Lots of patience to get these images. BTW you cannot improve on sharpness beyond about f11 (on a 10Mpx and 1.6 crop sensor) due to diffraction. Have a look at this link http://www.cambridgeincolour.com/tutorials/digital-camera-sensor-size.htm

Thanks. It is an outstanding lens, I just wish it was sharper when stopped down to say f/18 to f/22. I'd be will to sacrafice performance at larger apetures for this as you need the DOF for macro work.

You have some really nice pictures here. What do you think of the D FA 100 MACRO lens ? The images look wonderful.
