What a great add on lens. Used with a telephoto zoom lens it offers amazing magnification. After a week of use I am pretty much bored with my 1:1 dedicated 100mm macro. This simple add on offers more than 3:1 magnification with the Tamron 70-300mm. The only concern is the very shallow DOF resulting in the need for working the ranges of f/22 - f/29, so you need a dedicated flash to use this lens. At $43 it is an absolute steal.
