The colours of the village of Genthod (in Switzerland – near Geneva) are muted in the depth of winter. The winter of December 2009 to February 2010 was bitter in much of Europe including Switzerland.

Sometimes the snow stopped and the sun emerged lighting the village ready to take postcard like images like this one taken via a mirror placed to warn of traffic around a corner.
