The Ilocos region (composed of North and South) is very rich in heritage and cultural traditions. The Spanish influence is quite evident as you visit the different towns both in Ilocos Sur and Norte. The different towns in this region have similarities but at the same time have their unique character. We have enjoyed our visit of this picturesque place especially because of the warm, friendly and hospitable people.

I went back to the Northern part of Ilocos last Feb 2008 with my colleagues from the camera club and again, I was awed with the landscapes, sunsets and people in that place. It certainly is a place worth seeing over and over again. My latest images are on the top page of the gallery.
