The Mesa Verde NP preserves a collection of cliff dwellings built by the ancestral Puebloans calles Anasazi by the Navajo Indians. These cliff dwellings date back to about 700 to 1,400 years ago.

The photos were taken in the early evening with a strong low sun, which has given problems with the highlights.
