Labor Day weekend at the ocean got under way with a fun Friday night - the Rosie Burgess Trio played at the Community Center, in Caspar, Calif., on September 2, 2011. Located between Mendocino and Fort Bragg, Caspar is a gorgeous little north coast community. The Australian trio, featuring front woman Rosie Burgess on guitar, harmonica, and vocals; Sam Lohs an drums and vocals; and Tim Bennett on bass, played two high-spirited, fun sets of crafty, clever original acoustic folk/pop tunes, as well as a couple of early 1990s rap covers that they often play for fun.
