I usually don't bring my camera to football games, but had some fun with it this time. For the second time in three years our local high school football team, the Paradise Bobcats, won the California Interscholastic Northern Section Division championship, which covers a wide swath of far northern California. On a cold night at Wraith Field in Paradise, the Bobcats beat Foothill, out of Palo Cedro, 29-7, which brought redemption to the school after a very controversial 25-minute referee ruling that went against the Bobcats in last year's championship game, which they lost in the game's final seconds. This year, with many on the team returning the Bobcats took an 8-7 half-time lead and scored three touchdowns in the second half to take the title.
