New Monsoon, Homewood (Lake Tahoe), Calif., August 17, 2013

As part of Homewood Days, a free celebration of the West Shore of Lake Tahoe that is Homewood Mountain Resort's way of giving back to the people of Tahoe, San Francisco's New Monsoon headlined the music end of things on Saturday, August 17, 2013. Lonesome Locomotive opened the show. The energetic, fun-loving, jam-happy ensemble gave their all for the modest crowd, on a day when the hills were a little smoky from area wildfires. Though the resort’s circuit breakers would silence the stage amps at a few inopportune times, it was a fun day and twilight along the cool lake. All images ©Alan Sheckter / AlSheck@comcast.net
