CSU International Festival, CAMMIES Americana/Country Showcase, Chico Calif., April 30, 2011

Pictures are from two colorful spring events in Chico, California, on April 30, 2011. First are some images of the 37th annual International Festival, a free cultural event hosted by the Chico State University Associated Students Multicultural Affairs Council. I was there for a short time and caught Nefertiti's Dozen. Next are some images of four bands at one of the showcases presented by the Chico News & Review's sixth annual CAMMIES (Chico Area Music Awards), which "recognizes emerging and popular Chico bands and solo performers, while illuminating the region’s developing music scene."
