The Tuscan Ridge Golf Course, halfway between Chico and Paradise Calif., hosted the so-called Chico Legends Festival on Aug. 19-20, 2011. The venue turned out to be a great place for such an event. Headliners were Chali 2 Na and his band on Friday night, and Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers, featuring Tim Bluhm on Saturday. Performers aslo included some Chico bands, including the legendary Pub Scouts and Mystic Roots, along with Swamp Zen, Reckoning, Twisted Strategies, Pyrx, and Hap Hathaway/Himp C, as well as regional bands Dead Winter Carpenters, Headphone Union, and Zugh. and All images copyright Alan Sheckter / AlSheck@comcast.net
