Howdy! Welcome to my galleries. If you are reading this message you are possibly interested in my photos, or you're bored... Either way, I am glad you stopped by :)
What am I all about? It's all about showing what is around us.. In particular the other 99% of animals who we tend to ignore - the spiders, insects, and other invertebrates. Simple, and cliched.
The landscapes and seascapes - a fraction of a second frozen. If it looks good, it looks good :)
The other galleries on here contain a lot of miscellaneous photographs of completely different subjects. Some of these galleries (e.g. Smiths Lake, South Australia) contain photos that are essentially taken 'on the run' - usually just descriptive snapshots of scenes or animals.
I could keep rambling, but I should leave it at that... :-) Comments and suggestions are welcomed, always :)

p.p.s. Equipment, if anyone is curious:
- Body = Canon 5D, though some of the older one are with a 10D.
- Lenses: Most landscape shots with the Canon 17-40 L. Majority of the macro shots are with the Canon MP-E 65mm 1-5x, though there's a few of the not so big ones taken with the Tamron 90mm. Flash for the macro = Canon MT-24EX. Other lenses thrown in the mix for some of the landscape shots = Tamron 90mm, and Canon 100-400 L.
- Other: Use Hitech ND grads for sunrises/sunsets, as well as Singh-Ray reverse grad occasionally.
p.p.p.s. Post-processing, unless otherwise indicated is generally curves + levels, sometimes cropping, and always general cleaning :)
