This gallery is all about bark, as in tree bark (yep, that's right... tree bark ;-))... Mostly that of Eucalypts, the dominant trees in Australia. I'm by no means a tree person, but there is a certain character in bark - the variety of textures and colours is worth the look... Bark can remain exactly the same for probably hundreds of years, slowly fading with the tree's life.. It is the texture of time.
