Most motorsports fans know that sprint car drivers have a very unique personality. After all, they enjoy strapping into a lightweight, high-horsepower machine and flinging it around an oval track at incredible speeds. We're talking about a 1200-lb. car, with 800 horsepower. And, they're not happy by themselves, as they like to socialize with a couple dozen other drivers on the track with them. However, don't misunderstand, good manners may not be rewarded in a sprint car race. So, don't expect someone to say, "Oh please, after you!"
When heading to their favorite track with their racers in tow, the drivers will see an assortment of signs along public highways. However, what would happen if the drivers encountered some of these signs on the race track at speed? This photo gallery shows signs that a race car driver would not want to see posted at the track, when he is charging into turn three at 120 mph. Of course, you can apply all of the above to your favorite form of motorsports, but in my opinion a sprint car is the ultimate race car. I know, this may not be realistic, but having a cold beer or three while viewing this gallery might help.
