By definition carnivals present a feast of celebration, parade, masquerade, vibrant colors and joy to all of the participants and viewers.
You have gone beyond this, Alain, and gave your unique artistic interpretation of the event that surely has a special place in your heart.
Thankfully to your creative efforts it finds its place in mine, also.
