Colors of Greek Islands - Couleurs des Iles Grecques

The sea has a country : Greece !
Since always, the Greek islands fascinate the men, and particularly the Cycladic islands.
The blue of the sea and the blue of the heaven, the dazzling light, the villages all whites, with blue shutters and red flowers, the cordial welcome of the inhabitants, all participates to the appeals of the insular life.
Ah, these small sleepy ports where are dancing colorful boats while propagate themselves the exhalations of an octopus grilled accompanied of Ouzo or resined white wine ( Retsina ) : they possess all an indefinable charm and dispense a particular art of living to which one succumbs quickly...and definitely !

La mer a un pays : la Grèce !
Depuis toujours, les îles grecques fascinent les hommes, et particulièrement les îles Cycladiques.
Le bleu de la mer et le bleu des cieux, la lumière éblouissante, les villages tout blancs, avec des volets bleus et des fleurs rouges, l'accueil chaleureux des habitants, tout participe aux attraits de la vie insulaire.
Ah, ces petits ports alanguis où dansent des barques colorées pendant que se propagent les effluves d'un poulpe grillé acompagné d'Ouzo ou de vin blanc résiné ( Retsina ) : ils possèdent tous un charme indéfinissable et dispensent un art de vivre particulier auquel on succombe rapidement et... définitivement !

Oia, en particulier, a une magie irrésistible qui a séduit tous les deux nous. Je le préfère dans au loin la saison, particulièrement novembre, quand le temps est si imprévisible. Il peut ressembler à un rêve un jour, et a un orage terrible le prochain. Il est en effet de la mer ! John
