311205.jpg

Counting down to the end of the year, I would like
to thank all of you that have come to check my work
and for all the support I've been given here at Pbase
since I've opened my account in May. These have been
some really fantastic 7 months, where I have learned
so much. Thank you very much.
I wish you all the best in 2006, tons of inspiration
and exciting new photos.
Don't forget to have fun tonight :)
Good bye.

Such a powerful image. I love the depth of the foreground and how it draws us in, but a bit slowly to take in the full image after traveling across the cloth. I am looking forward to your new images for the New Year. All the best to you in your creative persuits.--Rene

Happy New Year to you also Ana. This photo is really great. Like what Niall O'Shea said, you're the master of low lights photos.

Very dramatic shot. Like a Dutch Masterwork in photo rather than oil.
Happy New Year to you!!

I did take a closer look in Photoshop. The glass appears to be clean. So, the picture is not about being done in already, but about impatience and discipline. Just like the Christmas image is. The glass is in your hand. The devil of temptation is undeniably close. But your angel of discipline tells you that it is not time to pop the bottle just yet.

Like the others already suggested, do celebrate tonight! You look ready for it.

Your lighting is incredible here.. as Ann says.. a very renaissance feel to it - like one of the old masters' paintings.
Wishes for an excellent new year, Ana.. It is you who have been an inspiration..

Happy new year Ana!
This is a great expressive picture, as usual.
I agree with Niall, though. Tonight you've got to fill your glass with Champagne, nothing less!
All the best,
Lucie

Not the most festive image ;), but certainly a stunning image with a renaissance feel to it. Happy New Year!

When the last supper spills it's final drop of wine. And the voices die into the fading hour. And my tablecloth is wrinkled from the stains of your parting laughter. It will be time to roll away with sorrow sweet this weary night. To wipe away the dew from soft shared eyes. For these ashes of fallen yesterdays,my love, will nurture morrow's seed. And I promise that New Light will candle you fresh again as Eden's Dawn.

~V! May the New Year be an undiscovered world of adventure. Best Wishes Always,Ana!~
