I love the "simply You" - your look is catching, and I can feel your thoughts running behind...

Visually it has the aroma of good painting.

Beautiful, soft and a very 'natural/open' looking moment.
I like the grain the overall tone and crop of the image.
Excellent work Ana.
best wishes Rob

excellent picture Ana... such a nice subtle glow to the skin...
Splendid SP..the little scarf or veil( thats what it seems though i am not sure) across a part of your face really gives a touch of fragility and adds mystery to the character and enhance the 'look' in your eyes... great work Ana
cheers

this version is expressive, but i personally don't find it says as much as the bruised version.

Thanks for asking me to do it. I've told you the story behind this one and I really liked it, but since it was so grainy, I 've decided to play with it until the bruised image was born, but I liked this one from the start, I just wasn't sure if the quality of the image justifyed the upload. Thank you for making me think differently once again Phil!
And no, you didn't read to much into it...

Thanks for posting this for me, Ana. I love this image, grain and all. By adding a touch of Photoshop brightness, the effect of the grain is heightened. Your skin becomes a network of tiny glowing nodes that bring you to life. Don't ever worry about grain or noise as if it was mistake or something bad or wrong. The noise adds texture to your face and makes it more complex, which is appropriate to what you are trying to say. I no longer see you as bruised, as you were when your face was a mass of electronic purple and black. This image is thoughtful, as if you are listening and learning and thinking about what you will do with what you learn. The longer I look into it, the more I see it as you in the process of coming to your recent decision to make that incredibly perfect image that turned you around forever. Am I reading too much into this? It doesn't matter. The greatest pleasure of a truly expressive photograph is when it gives us a chance to make whatever we to make out of it. This is just such an image.
