The crocuses you eventually come to were photographed early afternoon on April 27, 2007, and again around 7:30pm.This area is along a biking/hiking path on the east side of the South Saskatchewan River, approximately 2km north of the University of Saskatchewan. Lens: 105mm fixed Sigma macro lens.
No alterations or enhancements have been made to any of these images except to reduce the size.
The ducks and swans were photographed around the Watrous area on May 3rd, 2007
The Prairie Lilies, commonly called tiger lilies (flower emblem of Saskatchewan). I found these on July10, 2007, while doing maintenance on a geo-cache site with our grandson Kyle. I did not have my big camera gear with me but did have along a Nikon CoolPix 800 that I recently purchased on Ebay for $40.00. I am really pleased with that piece of gear. UPDATE: (coolpix destroy by water while on The Maid of The Mist, Niagara Falls, October 2007)
The July 30, 2007 images were taken around 7am, during a very foggy morning at Manitou Lake, approximately 1km east of our cottage.

November 2006 images using a Pentax *isD, Sigma 18-200mm lens, and a Manfrotto tripod.
On some of these images, the lens was zoomed in or out while the image was taken.

:: PentaxK10 test ::
The reflection scenes and the images of Niomi were done using a Sigma 18-200mm lens.
The macro images were all done using a 70-300 Sigma lens in macro mode. (300mm so I had to stand back about six feet from the flowers) I should have taken along my dedicated macro lens but we did not know we were heading to the nursery until we got into the field trip.
Camera was left in standard developing mode. (Saturation and contrast left at factory settings) No adjustments made to the images except to reduce sizes.
