The Las Brisas Hotel in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo, on Mexico's Pacific Coast northwest of Acapulco, participates in an ecological program to raise baby sea turtles and release them into the ocean. These pictures were taken at such a release in the late afternoon on Saturday, January 14, 2006. The hotel staff promised that those turtles that survive would be back in five years.
