The Lobsters of Halifax

Washington had its pandas , Chicago and Stockholm their cows, Jerusalem its lions, and Boston its cod. In the summer of 2005 it was Halifax's turn - and how better to capture the spirit of this delightful Nova Scotia city than with decorated lobsters. Here a few that we saw on a visit in August 2005. We flew and rented a car rather than taking the ferry. We covered 3,000 km in Nova Scotia -- that's enough driving for me. More Nova Scotia pictures coming soon....
