I took a brief trip to Czernowitz in July 1992 during a visit to Bucharest, Romania. These photos are scans of slides that I took with a cheap point-and-shoot camera during that trip. The quality leaves much to be desired, but they at least provide an impression of what the city was like nearly a century after my father's birth there.
