This is one of my favorite photos of my father and me from my early childhood. It might appear that this is a candid shot in which he was trying tell me something important. But knowing my father it was undoubtedly carefully posed. The setting is probably Jackson Park, which was about a block from our apartment and where we spent a great deal of time in those days.
