I hopped on a Eurostar train from Rome, Termini to St Lucia station in Venice. The 4hour ride was quite nice, but I used the time to process the photos I took in Rome and Siena in DPP (Some white balance, some NR here and there and altering up picture styles etc). I picked a hotel near the station (it was about 2 mins walk) so that I wouldn't need to lug my stuff all over Venice or take a water taxi (which costs a fortune!). I managed to get myself lost MANY times while in Venice (but who doesn't) and attempted to do some shopping - Venice, is even more expensive than ROME (for the good stuff that is)! Food was pretty good here, but again it was also more expensive than Rome... Venice is definately worth a visit, but I preferred Rome and Siena to this charming city.
