Message from Adolfo Isassi
Thanks for visiting my online gallery.
I've been taking pictures with varying levels of commitment since my Dad gave me a Agfa-Matic camera for my 7th birthday.
While attending architectural school I received formal training both in visual arts and the technical aspects of photography.
My first and foremost desire every time I approach a subject is to capture the beauty that I see in it before the picture is taken.
I do this by studying the subject from the points of view of light, composition and technique.
I am a believer of the effectiveness of the classical principles of composition and the benefits of knowing when a subject benefits form deviating from these principles.
My digital cameras have allowed me the freedom to rapidly apply different techniques to subjects and explore what better suits their essence.
Through the years I have developed a series of favored subjects such as architecture and landscapes, but lately, I have been working on broadening my horizons and take on new themes.
