I recently came across a few pictures of yours online. I love them. I am currently working on an album of ten songs and was hoping to obtain permission to use a screen print of a picture of yours on the cover. The picture is of a dead dove shaped like a heart. The record release will be very small (100-200 CD's) and sold for little to no profit among the artists of south-eastern Michigan, USA. Hopefully you would like this community to be able to experience and enjoy your work. Please be in touch. I'm not really sure if you read these comment boards so if someone else knows how to get in touch with Adolfo (e.g. an email address) please contact me. Thanks! - Paul Bancel (paulbancel@elvis.com)

Thanks for your comment on my picture!
You are right, the 1/20000 was not at all optimal, but it was an "emergency" shot: I was "people hunting" in a very sunny day, so I was using a fast shutter speed. And then I passed by this place (a kind of "halloween bar") and a kid started palying with the skeleton. So I shot quickly to capture the gesture...

hi! I really liked your oak creek canyon galery. You have some very beautiful photos! I am going to Sedona in early march of this year (can't wait!) just curious, as to what type of lens you used for your landscape shots?
Thanks!

Jen=)

Wow Adolfo!!! My GC shots are nothing compared to yours! Those are some of the nicest ones I have seen yet. There was a fire when we were there and it obscured the canyon nearly the whole trip. I had just gotten my camera and was just learning PS. This winter when I get time I will rework some of them. (I am a little better at PS now :-)
Wonderful galleries. I will put you on my favorite artist list. Thank you for the nice comments.

Thanks for the comments. I can probably reload that lightning picture with the EXIF data, but I think it was about 1 second shutter speeds and a pretty small aperture. It was hard to get long shutters during the day without over exposing the shot - lightning at night is probably much easier

I enjoyed my quick tour of your work and will definitely be back for more. You have a great talent for lighting, and your location (in profile) is quite clever. I've added you to my favorite artists and look forward to returning soon.

Thank you for your comment on the snowy owl and the halos photos. I am afraid the owl is not really part of a photo-a-day gallery but I just had to post it.
Your photos are those of a master photographer and you have used your C5050 to it's finest. I especially loved the photos of Venice, Siena, all the photos of Italy.
Did you set the C5050 to black and white or did you convert in post editing?
I belong to several Olympus sites and I am sure they would love to see what you have done with the C5050. http://groups.msn.com/OlympusCamedia5050SupportGroup/_whatsnew.msnw

How did you decide to buy the Canon? I am trying out an E300 Olympus DSLR, trying to decide which DSLR to buy.

Thanks for the comment on my sunset photo Adolfo.

It's the abstraction that I like the best too. Re post processing - there was practically none. It was taken in 1988 with a Nikon F801 (N8008) and a Nikon 24-50mm lens using slide film. The colours were very intense when seen by the naked eye.

I actually had to drive over this lake on a causeway every day to get to the goldmine I was working in and in the six months I was there this was the only day with no clouds and no wind. Driving home from work I imagined I might get a nice photo so I borrowed a car the return for the sunset. It was worth the effort!

You too have a nice collection of photos. It was interesting to see your Italy photos because as I write this I am staying with friends in Milan and we are about to visit Florence and Venice!
