Aviation - Flying High

I've been shooting the aviation world for some years, as my main hobby. In this gallery I want to show my favorite images. Most of these photos were taken at Faro international airport in south Portugal, hope you like.

Excelente galeria. Também eu costumo ir para perto da pista de Faro para observar aviões de passageiros -uma das minhas grandes paixões- só tenho pena de, às vezes, ouvir comentários de quem passa: "outro maluco dos aviões". Se ao menos eles conseguissem entender...

Luis -- I never thought it would be possible to create portraits of jetliners, but you've done it! These shots are absolutely stunning in their power and impact. My favorites are the ones showing the plane in semi-silhouette with the hot jet fuel vapors shimmering against the full setting sun. Great gallery!

This is the best collection of aircraft photos I've ever seen! I am an airline pilot and long time aviation buff. I've looked at a lot of aircraft photos and these are the best! Nice work.

I happend to be an aerospace engineer in California, USA. I like airplanes shot like these and you have done an extremely good job! I usually would sneak out in the morning or late in the evening to the airport, not to fly but to take pictures of the airplanes, oh yes, my wife knows exactly where to find me!

Happy shooting, airplanes are incredible machines.
