After a couple months of preparation and maintenance, Legendary Airliners flew former Eastern DC-7B N836B from St. Paul, Minnesota to Peachtree DeKalb Airport on August 7th, 2004. Hundreds of aviation enthusiasts and former Eastern employees toured the aircraft which still has the original seating and interior. On August 8th Juan Carlos Gomez and crew flew the DC-7B from Peachtree DeKalb to Opa-locka Airport in NW Dade County where it will be restored to former Eastern Airlines livery.

Legendary Airliners was established by co-founders Juan Carlos Gomez and Marc Wolff with a common vision of preserving and restoring some of the world's most historic airliners and enabling aviation enthusiasts internationally to enjoy them as attendees at air shows, or more intimately, as Legendary Airliners flight club members.
