Concourse B was built in two phases - the west half was done in the early 70s and the eastern half in the late 70s. The huge Eastern employee parking lot is visible between the Eastern Air Cargo Building and Concourse B.

Concourse B was bulldozed in late 2006 as part of the North Terminal Project that will give American Airlines a mile long linear concourse from the tip of Concourse A one mile to the west to the tip of Concourse D.
